  1. It may have been oneshot in long johns being mistaken for a highly trained lab coat wearer.

You may find, like I did, that your electronics will kill your cranking battery in a few short hours. Today’s electronics can be juice hogs. I went through several crankers trying to figure what to do. I have a dedicated AGM battery with 2 Humminbird Solix units on. That are killing a battery grave yard dead in less than a year. If you have a setting on your sonar unit that will show supply volts, I recommend that you set it to show so you can keep an eye on your cranking battery’s state of charge so that you can avoid being stranded.
  5. That’s funny and appropriate.

Glad you had some success with live scope. Your live scope issue may have been a voltage drop in your battery. Which AGM did you get for a cranker? What are the cca and rc ratings?
  7. I have found the Lakemaster to be better than Navionics. I gave my last Nav card away.
  8. They were picked up this morning on their way to a new home.
  9. I would need more information but it sounds tempting to me. That is less than a half day guide trip.
  10. That doesn’t bode well for the average Joe on bad days if Buster is having trouble.
  11. What kind and size fish. If bass and I had a chance to beat my best 6 fish limit I’d be interested.
  12. That beat the heck out of Stockton water haul. The only way that I can get a fish on a swim bait is if it is on a bladed jig or an Arig. Were you fishing them paralell or down hill? Congrats Big M wizzard.
  13. The way we fished it the bobber had to be tightly anchored, snapped at top and bottom and with a bead under it that had been stuffed with strands of living rubber. The bobber was a tear drop rigged to lay on its side. When it stood up, time to set the hook. We never waited for it to go under.
  14. Don’t believe I have either. There were 4 in one cove at Stockton today. They are magnificent birds.
  15. I happen to be in a high risk group. Currently nothing pisses me off more than to see someone wondering around in the store not wearing a mask.
  16. White River Marine Group is the umbrella covering the marine endeavors.
  17. If you choose to not do it yourself you might check with the guys ar Marine Repair. 833-9191
  18. Several years ago I got into it with plans to spend some time at Dale Hollow looking for big smallies. I even bought fnf jigs from Dale Hollow Tackle to use as patterns. At certain times it has been killer for crappie. I’ve caught lmb, spots, cats, carp, whites, and specs on it but nary a smallie. I haven’t used it for years.
  19. Woodland Artisan says he can use all of them so I guess they are spoken for. If there is a change I will repost.

Thanks to both of you. Please keep reporting. I know almost nothing about that technology and Utube videos are very amateurish to say the least. The way Humminbird usually delays releasing new stuff I have no idea when theirs will come out but I want to learn as much as I can to shorten my learning curve.
  21. I am asking for them to go where they can be used. I am cleaning the attic.
  22. I used to have 6000 square feet of garden. I produced more food than we could possibly eat. I happen to really like tomato juice so my wife normally canned 50 quarts for me. I don’t have a garden any more but I do have several cases of jars. They need to find a new home where they will be used. I don’t want to see them go a case or two at a time. I want them to all go at once if possible. I’m guessing that there are at least 10 cases of them.
  23. I’ve tried most of my rods on Arigs as I have been using them for at least 10 years. I throw my version of a flash mob with 1/8 oz heads and either swim baits or flukes on them with 50# braid. We used to make the forms from electric fencing wire before we could get good forms. I have settled on 2 rods and am trying out a third one tomorrow. Both of my regular rods came from Ark Rods in Harrison. One is completely unbranded and for sure is a 7’ heavy. The other one is a B & R Outlaw rod that was sold to me as being mislabeled. It shows as a mh but it seems like a heavy to me. I can’t use anything less than a 7’ rod on those things. I have also bought Shimano Curado 5:1 reels to match up with them. Being quite old and decrepit I can only throw them for about 5 hours before I am worn slick. I couldn’t last that long before I had the 5:1 reels.
  24. That would make a great memory for me.🙃
