I figure the lower water might make navigation easier by showing more of the stickups. I for sure won’t be moving very fast.

I see gar all of the time at Table Rock but never long enough to examine them. Down by Piney it would be a bow hunter’s paradise.

Probably not many patrol officers assigned. I rarely see one at Stockton and don’t remember the last time I saw them on Table Rock. Maybe no one is calling in to report it.

Have any of you been up toward the Hwy 39 bridge? I’m planning to go there Monday but haven’t been in a very long time.

I gave it 5 hours before I gave up. I fished from Anglers Bend to Piney. I caught 2 on a spook, 2 on a Ned and one on a Zero. None were keepers. I had one short hit on a Whopper Plopper, nothing on a jig, and nothing on a spoon. Water was 83-85°. It must not have been very good for some others as there were several rigs there when we arrived and few when we left.

There is a big brush pile close to it.

The only place I have ever been able to catch walleye consistently on that lake is right next to the Pittsburgh Landing and that has been limited to October. The bluff bank across from Nemo had given up crappie.

The last time I went to use the winch on my side by side , I pulled it out hooked it up and hit the switch. Nothing happened. I am totally non mechanical. Anyone know where to take it or what to look for?

Yes that is an example but I’m not sure if it is covered. Mostly I have heard of it when deer and turkey are being discussed. An MDC enforcement officer might be able to shed some light on this.

If we do, it would probably be covered by wanton waste.

We hit lots of places with lots of baits. We caught 8 bass and none were keepers. They were at all kinds of depths.

It must be really getting tough if a good local stick like you is having trouble finding them. It has gotten harder and harder for me down there lately.

You are on your own. I fished from Price’s Branch to Cedar Ridge. It would have been cheaper and cooler to have stayed home. Good luck if you try it.
