  1. So far so good. We haven’t seen any sign of them down in Stone County yet.
  2. I don’t know about the Helix units but there is a program that you can download called Humminbird pc. It may be what you need.
  3. I agree, but do you know any stupid people who don’t have at least one?
  4. He didn’t need one. We were living in the country in northern Stone County. The front door didn’t even have a lock.
  5. I quit sleeping with a gun after I nearly shot one of my wife's young cousins. He was drunk and came walking unannounced into our house. He was met with a loaded and cocked revolver. Two things happened that night: 1. He sobered up really quick. 2. I decided that I had come too close to taking a life, albeit a stupid one.

    Here's after cooking.

    What's Cooking?

I could go for some of that beef. We are having roasted lamb loin chops with vegetables. The lamb has been marinating for a while so it should be good.
  8. For that amount you can have a custom rod built just the way you want it. I have a rod that was built by the former owners of Ark Rod. It is a great rod and I wanted a second one so I took it to my rod guy so he could try to get one similar. The custom rod is way better than the original one.
  9. Massachusetts banned lead sinkers and jigs several years ago. I don’t know about computers and stuff.
  10. I don’t have a dog in this fight. I just remember that several years ago at De Soto bend they had so much trouble that they prohibited lead shot.
  11. Did you buy that $4 baby or cut and paste a pic? I’ve seen some vids of them but you are the first person that I know of who has shown one.
  12. I waited too long to get the snow blower out. The drive is wet under the snow and the snow is so wet the blower can’t throw it out. It looks like Mother Nature is going to be in charge.
  13. I thought that was Bo’s company. Who’s running it now?
  14. My link says at 2:22 pm yesterday you had a total of 6.5”. I don’t have a newer figure. Be safe on your trip.
  15. Pretty fish. Thanks for the craw description. I’ve been wondering what they look like now. I think I will make up a few for next week. I hope they look the same on the Rock.
  16. Ice is not my friend. A few years ago I stepped out the back door to take some recycling to the bin. There was ice I did not see. My feet went higher than my head and I landed on a concrete step with my ribs. I broke 3 ribs and ruptured my right lung. That took a trip to the hospital and a knife wound to let all of the lung gore shoot out. The ribs didn't heal properly.
  17. Across the road from our farm house, we have a creek bottom hay field. Beyond that is the creek and a lot of timbered hills. Almost every day 30 to 50 turkeys and 5 to 10 deer are showing up and feed in the field. Calves are wintered there and the turkeys spend a lot of time turning over cow pies. When spring comes they disappear and stay gone until the following late fall. They do this every year. I guess the turkeys fly over and the deer swim the creek and jump the fence. During hunting season they never show up. BTW great pic.
  18. The roads are getting slick here. One car supposedly flipped on 60 hwy just east of Republic.
  19. Snow shoveling lessons. I have a long wide drive and can accommodate at least a half dozen students. I will teach you several of the techniques that I have used over the years. I only have one scoop shovel so you will have to furnish your own. PM for time and location. If we have too many students, some of my neighbors may allow us to use their driveways.😂
  20. I’d say you are in the favored customer group. I bought an Ulterra with Ipilot link and had to download my own manual.
  21. That’s possible. Copenhagen got my hired hand.
  22. I haven't moved my generator to the house yet but all other systems are go. As well as putting 80 sticks of wood in the garage and half a cord in the camper shed behind the house.

    Chiefs

My guess is Andy will think twice before he gives Patrick free rein again in a crucial situation.
  24. I guess I have led too much of a sheltered life. I’ve never seen any of that stuff.
  25. Down here in Perdido Bay I have seen several surf casters. They say red fish are the prey. Most get close to the water, cast the bait and let line out as they walk back to their rod holders. One guy hooks his bait to a drone has it fly the bait where he wants it and has the drone drop it. He is way beyond the casters.
