Mitch f Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 , and know what kinda beer they like. I started out thinking Shafer's light or Busch in a can, but now I guess I need to change it to Corona "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
ollie Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 No wrench, they will still write the ticket knowing darn well nothing will come of it. They CYA, but know nothing will come of it. Different attitude down this way I guess from the local agents. Although I'm sure that attitude is shared amongst other agents. "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Feathers and Fins Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 So what y'all are saying is that a person can just stand there and pretend to not understand a word the lawman is saying.....and the lawman will just walk away? I'd have to see that to believe it. What keeps the lawman from placing them under arrest? Come on down, Ollie is right on this and its sickening. Arrest lmao. They will be out on bail never to show up for court bail is cheaper than a day missed at work. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856
fishinwrench Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 This is interesting. How do you arrest someone who can't be identified? A person is standing on the riverbank close to a stringer of fish but he will not speak or respond to questioning.... How long can he be held in custody for that?
Buzz Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Sounds to me like ICE needs to do another sweep of the poultry companies again. Unfortunately it never lasts. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
joeD Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Come on people, wake up! Do you actually think the MDC cares about smallmouth bass, or people yanking fish from a public access? That is so far down their priorty pole it's not funny. Let me repeat: The Missouri Department of Conservation could care less about "our" smallmouth bass fishing "issues." Smallmouth bass don't pay the bills my brothers. Deer do. Does. Even though there are deer in every nook and cranny and crevice and field in every county and city and town and backyard in Missouri, the MDC treats deer as a rare and special animal worthy of a majority of the agencys' money and manpower. Turkey and waterfowl and other gamebirds follow in relevance. Fish are fish and live in water. And to be generally ignored. Why do you think nothing has changed for years and years regarding smallmouth bass regulations? Again. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. Pay attention to what they DO, not what they SAY. And they have done.... NOTHING.
Feathers and Fins Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Sounds to me like ICE needs to do another sweep of the poultry companies again. Unfortunately it never lasts. Last about a couple hours, just long enough for the ones missed to make a few phone calls telling their friends jobs just opened. I know that sounds racist but its likened to living in Cali, need workers for something go to Home Depot before 8am and you have all the labor truth is still the truth. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Beaver-Lake-Arkansas-Fishing-Report/745541178798856

You are right on point and correct....bravo!!! Come on people, wake up! Do you actually think the MDC cares about smallmouth bass, or people yanking fish from a public access?
