Sore Thumbs Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Willyfish and Football Head were the closest. Good job guys! You just won a free subscription to Ozark Anglers Forum! That's the gift that keeps giving the whole year.lol
Bill Babler Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Great win for a super nice guy in Howell. Can you even imagine catching 29 pounds the last day of the Classic anywhere but Florida, California or Texas? That brings up the question, what is the biggest bag ever weighed in on the final day. Got to be this one. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Sore Thumbs Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I can't imagine catching that much ever, let alone in the Classic. Clutch!
buzzbaitr Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I am going to say around 67lbs. It is just really hard to catch 25lb bags 3 days in a row. Even for these guys.
moguy1973 Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 Great win for a super nice guy in Howell. Can you even imagine catching 29 pounds the last day of the Classic anywhere but Florida, California or Texas? That brings up the question, what is the biggest bag ever weighed in on the final day. Got to be this one. The old single day record bag for any Classic was 29-6 by Luke Clausen on the first day in 2006. Howell had 29-2 today so I'm guessing that was the biggest final day Classic bag in history. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
Football Head Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 The single day record was broken on Saturday by Paul Mueller 32.02. Not sure what the record for the biggest final day weight is. 29 lbs. has to be up there though.
Sore Thumbs Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 My bad Buzzbaitr I missed your guess. Good job! You too get a free lifetime subscription to OAF. Congrats!
Jerry Rapp Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 dang it, if those guys hadn't lost so many big fish, and if their Triton/Mercury packages had been greater and faster, then they would have reached 75lb. BUt congrats to Randy Howell. He seems like one of the nicest and respected guys on tour.
fishinwrench Posted February 24, 2014 Posted February 24, 2014 I don't follow the circuit like I used to. What was the difinitive pattern of the top 3 ?
