aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted August 18, 2014 Author Posted August 18, 2014 Yeah as long as I'm not in the muck layer I should be able to get some. Below that it gets pretty dark. But most the bass and crappie aren't down in it
Fish24/7 Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 Yes the bass were suspended didn't see to many hanging on the bottom. That one cedar I came up on I had to sit there and take it all in. So many bass and crappie scattered through it. I really wish I had a camera. I'll be sure to take one next time and get some pics the lake is very healthy right now, and the future looks bright I saw what looked like schools of shad on the depth finder, dropped the aqua vu camera down there and it's NOT shad but thousands of litttle bass, crappie, gills.
Ham Posted August 18, 2014 Posted August 18, 2014 It was interesting to see how the dominant forage changed thru the spring. I caught a lot of fish on the Ned rig. Over the course of the day, multiple fish throw stuff up on the way to the boat. It tended to be the same food source being thrown up by all the fish on a given day. Craws, then shad, then back to craws, and then baby breaqm. Lots and lots and lots of baby bream. I never got on the larger bluegill this year, but they apparently had a very successful spawn. I'm a little concerned that the crappie did not. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

curtisce Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Does the marina at diamond city rent tanks or fill them? The answer may not lie at the bottom of a glass, but you should always check
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted August 26, 2014 Author Posted August 26, 2014 they are hit an miss, i wouldnt go and rely on them being able to fill. we tried that a couple times and the person working didnt know how. My brother and i are working on getting a compressor and we know someone that has an air bank...it wont be this year but if we do get somthing put together i will definitely let ya know. i have been down there a few times for dive trips and they were cut short due to the the marina that works on there own schedule, hate to talk bad about it but it is the truth....dont advertise unless you can fill the bill...Diamond is my fav place to dive........and to my knowledge they do not rent tanks
Ron Burgundy Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Hwy 125 Marina can take care of u....their not far by boat or truck from Diamind City. Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
Diamond City Fisher Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 We really don't have a marina in Diamond City. We have a boat slip rental place....if you have a big enough boat. We really need a marina that fill the needs of the people who live in Diamond City and those who visit Diamond City.
Members ericangler Posted September 5, 2014 Members Posted September 5, 2014 unfortanatly all the midlake marinas are more into the pleasure boat crowd not the fishermen.
