Quillback Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I can fish alone or with someone, it's always fun. Terrierman 1
dblades Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I can enjoy a day on the lake with just me and my maker, sometimes.
Sprint21fter Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Don't matter to me either way. I am there to get a tug on the line and enjoy nature.
Ham Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Fished with several full grown humans last year and had a blast. Lol Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Ham Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 There are definite advantages to both. I'm pretty close to fishinwrench on this. I really do prefer to fish with someone else for the experience, but I can concentrate better solo and work some things out. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. snakem Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I can out fish the back seat when no one is in it.
abkeenan Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Any fishing is good whether alone or with someone. That being said most of my fond fishing memories while in a boat are shared with someone else, either my uncle, brother and especially my grandpa.
powerdive Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Yup. I will ONLY fish if I'm alone or with someone. That's where I draw the line. I tend to experiment more when fishing solo, and most of my personal bests have come with no one else in the boat. When fishing with a partner, I feel obligated to stick with the known. Note: Having to drive 3 hours a day to fish tends to put a damper on experimentation also.
LD Fisher Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I fish with someone almost all of the time........wife or son or son-in-laws. I have gotten into fishing more since I hired Bill B for a guided trip and took along my wife. She fished with me quite a bit before, but she had some real success on the guided trip. That trip cost me a boat dedicated to fishing rather than fishing from a pontoon (thank you Bill ) and I don't have a problem now buying new lures or fishing equipment......................but now I have to buy at least 2 of everything! We are looking forward to the spring and enjoying a sport that we can do together, no matter how we do as far as catching fish. This is a great place to learn to fish Table Rock!!!!
