Tonight's meal.. nothing is cookin' 😃

The last three little pieces of beef jerky, the last six baby carrots in the bag, the last two celery stalks with some Skippy,  the other half of the banana I had put in my cereal for breakfast, and finished off the last  of the VitaminD milk right from the jug.

What to do with leftover turkey... make a spaghetti casserole.

Onion, garlic, broccoli, chicken stock, al dented pasta, sharp cheddar, parmesan, a little milk and spices. Oh and leftover turkey.

Had a few scallops in the freezer. Did them quickly, then had a shrimp cocktail and tossed salad.

I make something called Turkey Slop. Leftover turkey ,a box mix stuffing and a  jar of turkey gravy. Stove top in a pot make the stuffing , add the turkey ,add the gravy.   heat on low and don't over mix.

Chicago deep dish style pizza tonight. Dough is 80/20 AP and semolina flour blend with butter and oil. Also salt, sugar and yeast. Not at all like a regular pizza dough —lotsa fat.

Built upside down: crust, cheese, sausage then tomatoes. Whole milk mozz, dollops of Italian sausage, and crushed tomatoes that were drained for a few minutes. A little grated Parmesan on top.

Crust in 9 inch cake pan with  about 8 ounces cheese:

Tomatoes needed to be drained a bit longer—it was a bit wet . but still very good. B+

Spaghetti, meatballs, marinara, bell pepper, vidalia, chopped garlic, portabella, red pepper flakes and some malbec simmered most of the afternoon.  And a nice big glass of the malbec.

I'm sure it was good for a pan pizza. But for me- thin crust or nothing. Sorry.
