     Speaking of Squirrels,

Did Braised aurora squirrel again.  http://honest-food.net/braised-squirrel-aurora-recipe/

Good stuff, used three of the last six I shot out the family room window. Another thing the ones shot out the window taste no different than the ones from deep in the woods :). When hunting from the house you have to be very careful when making your stalk from the recliner to the window, open window slowly. They have sensitive ears and can hear that sound. hehehe.

Plated up with the last two potato rolls. Must make a note to the Mrs. More rolls should be baked this weekend. Squirrel killer in the background,

Empty plate and a dead beer,

BilletHead saved some leftovers for the Mrs. when she gets home from work. Kitchen mess included.

Yep! Evidence left at the scene of the crime in that last pic!

Eating solo today. Sautéed one big mushroom with thyme, deglazed with a splash of white wine, added cream, asiago cheese and bow ties. 15 minutes front to back.

My buddy just got back from Texas quail hunting, brought me several.  I need to find a good way to cook them low carb.  As a youngin I would go shoot some before breakfast, fresh fried quail with biscuit and gravy sure sounds good....have been informed I need to eat more healthy more often... Suggestions?

Give them to me.  Problem solved.

Minor effort tonight. My better half is cooking muscles. My task was do the chops and the Ceasar Dressing. Super easy and you won't ever taste better than fresh made Ceasar Dressing. I just eye ball it but Google Bon Appetit Ceasar dressing and your close. Croutons in the oven. Bread from Fazio's on the hill.

Starting supper for friends house tonight.  18 lb ham.  Should be enough for everyone coming, anyone who wanders in and enough leftovers to feed my son and room mates for several days with some left for beans later.  For those that noticed it is a fully cooked ham, I am just using the electric smoker as a slow outside oven today, though I will put some chips in it because I like the smell.
