MOPanfisher Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 LOL, I taught my kids to drink pickle juice before they could talk. I still drink it, dill or kosher only. Only a crazy person would drink sweet pickle juice. But then I think pickled pigs feet are a tasty treat so I can't be counted on for an opinion.
Chief Grey Bear Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 They sold cups of pickle juice at the skating rink when I was a kid. $.35 for a large cup! This was the late 70's. Disco and bell bottoms were still king. ness, BilletHead and Deadstream 3 Chief Grey Bear Living is dangerous to your health Owner Ozark Fishing Expeditions Co-Owner, Chief Executive Product Development Team Jerm Werm Executive Pro Staff Team Agnew Executive Pro Staff Paul Dallas Productions Executive Pro Staff Team Heddon, River Division Chief Primary Consultant Missouri Smallmouth Alliance Executive Vice President Ronnie Moore Outdoors
MOPanfisher Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I gave some away working at the concession stand for my kids games. Funny to find a kid who likes pickle juice and give them a cup of juice from the hamburger dill slices jar. They have made their brag and have to try to get it down. But then I have a little mean streak toward teenage boys (at least when my daughter was a teenager).

My grandson was in the house this summer and after I took him on a bike ride and puked him (not me-!) he was in the fridge looking for something to drink and got out the nearly empty jar of spicy bread and butter pickles. Drank the juice right on down and gave it his blessing in a good south Arkansas accent as "some good drinkin' right there". Deadstream, BilletHead and ness 3
Deadstream Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 The young stallions that come into the local bar on their 21st birthday always want everybody to buy them shots. I always pony up for a double pickle juice! ness, Terrierman, BilletHead and 3 others 6
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 Why do people drink pickle juice? What's the benefit? Pardon my ignorance.
