Cold, windy and snowy here but I wasn’t deterred. Roads were really crappy, but we made it. Well, we found the quail in about 5 minutes...but they all flew away! 😄 Oh well, there’s always ham and navy bean soup! Plus cornbread with a little butter and molasses. Me likely! Daryk Campbell Sr Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 I once made a deal very similar. I was going to apple picking with my now-wife. A female co-worker who lived alone offered to make an apple pie if I Supply the ingredients. She enjoyed baking but it would have made too much for her alone. I came home and told my girlfriend slash now wife about the deal. What happened next I would have never imagined. Most reading this probably know. I was totally in the dark. Long story short I learned that women do not like other women making food for their significant other. The story ends on a happy ending, we've been married for over 13 years now been together for 19. I just attended the wedding of the female co-worker a month or so ago. She ended up marrying a long-lost high school buddy of mine. Our sons play on the same soccer team. 16 hours ago, BilletHead said: That's a deal we could do also RPS. Although I would try anything RPS made I would gladly gift him some ground deer just so he could have it at his disposal for the dishes he fixes.
