Terrierman Posted December 26, 2019 Posted December 26, 2019 I make a super easy but still really good pot pie. Large can of homestyle Veg All (larger chunks than original) drained. Can of mushroom soup - today was golden mushroom only because that was all that was left on the shelf - but it is good! 1.5 cup of chopped leftover smoked turkey 1/2 cup smoked gouda cheese chopped 1/2 cup milk. Mix all that and transfer to appropriately sized baking dish - maybe 9" round Cover with a pre made pie crust, perforated a bit. Crimp the edges. 375 for an hour. 425 for another 20 to brown the crust. Deadstream, MOPanfisher, Mitch f and 3 others 6

Good for leftover chicken, turkey whatever. Terrierman 1 John

Look at it versus Land O’Lakes on the right: I love shortbread! Butter is tricky. Some butter has more of the whey in it. Other butter does not. The difference affects the baking result. However, the price does not necessarily reflect the milk fat versus water ratio. This may help. Do note Kerrygold is in the top group. https://www.cooksillustrated.com/taste_tests/1911-unsalted-butter ness and Terrierman 2
Travis Swift Posted December 27, 2019 Posted December 27, 2019 I did some of my 3-2-1 Ribs on the Traeger the other night. I prefer baby backs but these spares were awful tasty! Mitch f, Terrierman, BilletHead and 4 others 7

Mitch f Posted December 28, 2019 Posted December 28, 2019 Costco is now separating the yellow parts and blue parts for their prime cuts. The blue parts are held together With string and are their most expensive steaks. The remaining yellow part is still a prime cut but is a rip-off in my opinion, because the best part is gone. The best value is still the choice all together Ribeyes in my opinion...as long as the marbling is good. snagged in outlet 3 and Terrierman 2 "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

They cheat you on the ribeyes when they take off the rib cap in my opinion and then I just buy well marbled fillet. I got a Christmas cash present so I bought some prime fillets!!! Mitch f 1

We went today because they had walleye fillets last week. No go today.😑 So I'm making cat. Terrierman 1
