rps Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 Taking the new grill for a spin tonight. Burgers with grilled onions and mushrooms and Swiss cheese. To look healthy I will grill a small zucchini and, as a side, a bit of hash browns. I hope this works as well as I plan, but I bet there may be a learning curve. If I avoid disaster, I will post later. snagged in outlet 3 1

rps Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 I used left over ground sirloin to make a dish tonight. Tamale Casserole. Polenta over a SW spiced "gravy" of ground beef, onion, tomato paste, chilies, corn, and a bit of left over salsa.
Ryan Miloshewski Posted January 30, 2020 Posted January 30, 2020 I don't have any pictures because it didn't last, but I made the absolute best duck I have ever eaten last night. Nothing special. Did my typical pan sear with the skin on. Scored the skin, as it was a fat gadwall. Just had to let someone know when you shoot a duck, clean it, and enjoy it as a meal--and the result is out of this world--it is a hell of a feeling! Had it with rice and an avocado. ness and rps 2 “To those devoid of imagination a blank place on the map is a useless waste; to others, the most valuable part.”--Aldo Leopold
