             First of all thank you Rick. I feel the same. 

                   Second we tried a recipe this afternoon. It is easy to make with simple ingredients and a quickie. Darned tasty to boot. Did this in a 10" Wagner skillet. This skillet is an everyday user and carboned up and seasoned well. There is some tomato paste in the recipe but with a well seasoned skillet you can get away with some tomato acid in the skillet.

    We ate 80 percent of this skillet full. So if there is more than two of you double it!

And for dinner tonight, a lovely demi venison meat loaf (egged of course), baby bellas sautéed in good EVOO and a swiss melt on top.  Green salad for a side.

I'm sure the chicken chowder smelled and tasted yummy (I even said that).  It just didn't make me have a foodgasm looking at a picture of it.

Tuna casserole is happening here TONIGHT.   Pretty basic I think  

All this plus some frozen peas ....oh and cheese melted on top.

I eat it with a side of buttered toast.

It looks like buzzard puke though, so I'll spare you a pic of it.  😅
