They look Okay.  I'll put a big ole venison burger, half an avocado and a slice of onion between a couple of pieces of the bread, add some Heinz 57 and let you know.

Like a modified Burger/Wellington.  How did it taste, looks good.

I just halved a large chicken and made a miso, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, vermouth, and some water marinade. The chicken is in a gallon baggie with that marinade.

A little tip that may help you. Most groceries are sold out of flour. If that is true, do what my niece did for me. She checked the Mexican food aisle and found flour. The Spanish labeling meant the hoarders did not take it.

Butter burgers and grilled bacon tonight.  Toasted bread, provolone cheese, sliced red onion, slice mater, and some home made bbq sauce.  So easy you can do it with one arm tied behind (or in my case in front of) your back.  Sadly still had to have my wife bring it to.me after sitting down, and a paper towel bib was a necessity.

Been eating pretty good during the quarantine. I guess that’s an upside.

Grandma Vi’s buttermilk pancakes:

Last night tried a steamed cod recipe we’d seen on America’s Test Kitchen, modified to what we like and/or had. Bed of onions and garlic, then a sauce with soy sauce, white wine, sugar, and pepper poured over veggies. Foil over that to rest the fish on, then sealed with foil and baked for about 15-20 minutes. Strained the sauce and poured over the top. Pretty good -- will do it again:

Man you all have been eating well! Love seeing all the dishes. We have always mostly ate here at home other than maybe fast food I take to the Mrs.  So we can picnic on her half hour lunch break. I know this shut in deal is bring the chance for the ones who don't cook much at home to start doing so more often. A good thing in these stressful times. I know spending time in the kitchen cooking with my Mrs. is good for my soul. We have been fortunate to find some crappie and morels. One of my favorite spring meals.

Today it was just that with sides of baked beans and slaw,
