abkeenan Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 If you fish any of those places Bill mentioned you are trespassing and will be asked to leave. Lots of water in Long creek. Ha! I would love to see someone launch from the Upper end at ER, come to the lower end in Long Creek and then run back. You should be able to get in 10 casts before you have to put the rod back in the box and haul anything you got back to weigh in before 3pm.

Little color will help that Kings warm up faster. Won't hurt a thing up there.
Bill Babler Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I'm kinda holding out in finding a partner just incase an OAF non-boater would like to fish with me. I will be making the run up the Kings River may be as far as sweet water then working my way back down if anyone is interested in fishing with me plz let me know by the end of the week end so i will have time to get one my buddies to fish with me. i know not everyone fishes for bass and may not have alot of gear so if a trout crappie or other species fisherman wants to fish with me dont worry bout gear ive got plenty. Thanks Jim, that is a very nice offer for anyone who is wanting to fish with us. Much appreciated. Daryk Campbell Sr 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Bill Babler Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 I have seen jerseys on my end during KC tournies. During the Elite event last year, we had anglers coming from State Park up to and above Holiday Island, so it is done. About 10 yrs. ago Buster and I won the Homer Sloan, and we fished Long Creek. Caught a limit at that time it was 10 fish to weigh in and then we culled them all at Baxter on the way back in, so really we just burned a bucketful of gas and oil. Got a feeling just lookin for one bite, we can find it much closer. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Sac River Jim Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 you guys dont have to worry bout me if I have the results Ive had on Stockton lately I'll be lucky to put a dink in the boat hahaha!!!!!!
Ketchup Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Quill and Bill, thanks for the info. Listening to the others, there isnt any fish in that part of the lake, and my motors to small to go far, so i may just float down river and catch a rock, tree, stump, or whatever else will bite, and weigh that in.
