wicked colors yellow ochre didn't look yellow at all, it nearly fooled me when i was hunting the createx isle at hobby lobby. Its more like Dijon mustard

That's what yellow ochre is supposed to look like. Just a dirty muddy yellow color. But that name will throw you.

Yeah, it’s a nasty yellow ! But with just a touch of that and white it makes a pretty good bone

i’m looking for the best price

Also, can I modify that bone color recipe to make transparent bone, by using trans white?

I 've bought some predator baits  warts and I  like those but haven't tried the topwaters yet.

some of the best prices I have found on lure blanks are from Japanese sellers on eBay, have to be careful though who you buy from  make sure they have a high feedback score

Man I need to start painting again, been WAY too long!

I’m not sure , I could see that working

so I dabble with painting mostly in pursuit of wart colors that have changed over time or tweaking jerkbaits.

I messed around putting a hand drawn scale pattern on unpainted and primed blanks with a sharpie. I think it works ok. Epoxy top coat messed with visibility. Enamel was great. Looking for thoughts and further tweaks. Would like epoxy durability.

Pics are no top coat and finally with enamel.
