Stuck in a hotel in Wichita.

I'm going to name my 5 favorite acting performances, not movies. They are as follows:

1. Robert Shaw -Jaws....USS Indianapolis scene 

2. Christoph Waltz-Inglorious Bastards

3. Barry Corbin- No Country for Old Men

4. HUD- Patricia Neal

5. Geraldine Page- Trip to Bountiful

I watched some of High Plains Drifter just the other day. That's a good one.

 

 

My oldest daughter grew up with Harry Potter. They are good movies.

This was tough picking high plains over Josey Wales was very tough. I often whistle the rose of Alabama when I'm camping Lol. Or dixieland followed by battle hymn of the republic.

I would always put a movie with Chief George in above High Plains Drifter.

"All I have is a piece of hard rock candy. But it's not for eatin'. It's just for lookin' through."

"I'm glad you stopped me when you did. I might have killed her."

"They call us "civilized" because we're easy to sneak up on. White men have been sneaking up on us for years."

so many good lines:

Captain Terrell; "Not a hard man to track. Leaves dead men wherever he goes."

Granny Hawkins: "They say you're a hard put and desperate man, Josey Wales. They're goin' to heel and hide you to a barn door. You know what I say? I say that big talk's worth doodly-squat."

Alt time favorite line of the whole movie: Fletcher; "There's another old saying Senator. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining."

Pert as a ruttin buck.  Harmless as a heel hound, so many good lines in this movie.  Best movie ever.   Ever. Let's not forget, mushrat  ain't no good this year !
