Flysmallie Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 This thing is intriguing. I think I'll pick some up and give them a shot.
dtrs5kprs Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 If it will more or less work like the jitterbug does (as an option to a fin) it might be a winner. My concern would be the durability of that plastic lip and whether it will throw a v wake. Obviously someone has been spelunking through the 200 and some odd new product pics on the BASS site. Shame on you.

Shame on you. Saw it listed as a new product on the TW homepage. It's in stock. No, I have not purchased one, but the fingers are getting itchy. Must wait for the TW 4th of July sale....

mjk86 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 17$ for a jointed jitterbug...sign me up!! Unfortunately 17$ for a topwater is cheap nowadays. There is another company that makes a black jitterbug with a powerworm glued to the back and calls it a 90$ rat bait. I guess if people have that much extra money, more power to em. Champ188 1

I can kind of justify paying higher prices on topwater because the likely hood of losing one is pretty slim unlike cranks/soft plastics/etc. Only way you lose one is if a fish takes it, you bang it on a rock or dock on a cast or the person in the back of the boat throws it 30 yards up into a tree. In 20+ years I think I've only lost one spook to a fish and one redfin that cracked on impact hitting a dock cable. Quillback and dtrs5kprs 2
