You have to install the Nmea 2000 network starter if you don't have and then add the sensors you want. There are electronic monitoring systems for each engine I know mercury has one and would imagine Yamaha has one also that will input all of the engine data into the Lowrance HDS units. The one for the Mercury is a few bucks more than I wanted to pay so I went the individual sensor route for fuel flow and level, and outdoor temperature may add the water pressure sensor later. The network starter kit is around $70.00 and then you might check into this for your engine

120-37 - Lowrance Yamaha Engine Interface Cable

which may work for your Yamaha it may give you all of the information from your engine for around $130.00 on Amazon.com and may be found for less on Ebay. Search the internet you will find sensors to hook into the lowrance network.

I beg your pardon! Mine WAS a bass, several to be exact. Here's one of them IMG_20150718_010036.jpg

Disclaimer: this was not from this mornings trip, it was a couple days ago.

You just don't know how to read old school stuff. :)IMG_20150724_000042.jpg

I guess I didn't see the forest for the trees.

Good example of si being used today. Idled on a flat in the middle of nowhere today. Found some piles. My boy catches this one. Next pile I lose a good one that buried up. I figured that was enough so I found more piles in the area but didn't cast any more.

I caught a few solid keepers flipping willows for about a half hours worth or so but not tournament winning fish. I only fished totally new water today. Now tomorrow hopefully to put things together.
