It's definitely amazing. I can ditch all the other headgear except this skull cap and a hoodie. I had fits keeping my head, face and neck warm without all the bulk until now. I gathered up all the Cabela's gift cards I got last Christmas and bought two bottoms, one top and glove liners on sale recently. I'm pumped. You guys played golf yesterday?!?!? Under Armour be danged, you're both tuffer than woodpecker lips!! I bet it wasn't too crowded on the first tee! techo Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 Love golfing in cold weather, no waiting and if the ground is hard your drives bounce down the fairways forever (assuming it lands on the fairway) Champ188 and Donna G 2 Tim Carpenter

When we made the turn the cart barn guy said we were the only players on either course at that time. Most of our shots made the fairway yesterday. No lost balls. That's always a good thing. techo 1 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915

Just employing the analogy in a most complimentary way regarding y'all's (that's plural for y'all by the way) ability to overcome circumstances and conditions that most would never take on. I've become so soft in my later years that I use a cart cover and a propane heater whenever I play on days that are much under 50 - at least if the winds blowin'. Talk about anti-tuff. Just don't handle the cold like I used to. Need to check out the Under Armour infrared gear it sounds like! Donna G and Champ188 2 "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." I cant take the cold like i use to my hands and feet get cold and im done, i havent figured out how to use a spinning reel with gloves on i guess. Getting old has it's advantages, but seems more disadvantages comes with it. I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything! Bruce Philips
96 CHAMP Posted November 22, 2015 Posted November 22, 2015 I don't have the quite the years on me as you have, but yes the older we get the harder it is, Especially when you have to work in the cold, then top that off with R.A. on top of that. Makes my hands hurt like a "son of a gun".
Ham Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I seriously need to win the lottery or something. My work life is cramping my fishing life pretty hard. The weather yesterday, today, and tomorrow was awesome for Fall fishing on the area lakes. Sadly, I only had time to catch 25 trout on the White yesterday. I caught 10 an hour, but I swear it felt slow. Half my fish were decent and half were dinky. Champ188 1 Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
