Just looked at the WW's on the BPS site - they've got some new BPS exclusive colors in stock.  I like the looks of the new Phantom Red for spring time warting.

Solution: Send a couple of your old ones to Hughesy for new paint. I'm gonna have a few Rock Crawlers headed his way soon.

This is incredible.  I like the really wild paint jobs on some of them like the bottom center two.

Those are tutti fruitty and parrot. Both are factory colors. The only repaints in all the boxes are some missouri craws and a couple phantoms.

Phantom Red won't work at all, especially west of 39 bridge...

Bo, I am with you on this. Using the original molds sure wouldn't hurt, especially if he is able to match the original components. Hard part will be hitting the right production period to match. Like Charlie noted, lead rattle balls would help too. Just look at a phantom wart with oxidized rattles to get a handle on why it matters.

Tim and all the rest of us who have painted a wart can also tell you the difference paint and clear coats can have on action, depth, sound etc. There are a ton of variables for sure.

Iovino has a good reputation for quality, and is known for painstaking work with old round reels. No reason to expect less if he gets into warts. His splash it chugger is a very nice hard bait.
