joeD Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 "A Charlie Brown Christmas" original soundtrack by Vince Guaraldi is my absolute favorite. Followed, probably, by the Boys of St Paul School Choir. I still like Nat and Bing and the rest, but, my heart lies in Vince and traditional choir ensembles. Not that anyone cares what I like, just throwing an opinion out there (here?). It's Christmas time. ness 1

Mitch f Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I'll choose Bing Crosby. The worst was Dean Martin singing "Rudy, that red beaked reindeer" "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
joeD Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 There is no "hate" in Christmas Mr Flysmallie.

snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I'm with Flysmallie. Can't stand Christmas music. Flysmallie 1
ness Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 What is wrong with you two?? Did you get a visit from Belsnickle? I'm with Joe D -- just this once -- Vince Guaraldi Trio takes me right to my childhood and Charlie Brown. I like a lot of the traditional stuff, and some contemporary takes on them too. But there are far, far too many remakes of the old standards that just suck. John
Jerry Rapp Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 I will listen to Christmas music starting December 20th.
Mitch f Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 If I'm not mistaken, KLOU 103.3 starts playing Christmas music only, starting the day after Thanksgiving.......that's a little much IMO "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
