Rodmaker Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Just saw the weather forecast for down on the rock. All you Ozark Anglers that live down there be safe! They said the flooding could be akin to 2008 & 2011. Yikes! 176champion, Champ188 and dtrs5kprs 3

Guest Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I live a few miles from the head waters. I can assure you that we've had enough rain already today & anything that falls will bring major pain. Beaver will likely top the dam early this week. its never happened during the winter period.

Guest Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 It started looking iffy last week for those of us that keep an eye on weather conditions. Some people are naive.

In St Louis County there is a car museum in the flood plain, it's right down the road from the Lamborghini dealership. I could think of a word stronger than naive. mjk86 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Ya it's messy....the rivers by me have been running very high before all this. Now 8-10inches of rain...flood gates are goin up for sure! Also it seems like flooding should be worse in the winter time when plants aren't actively drawing moisture in. That's totally a guess on my part though. Check ur basements!!! marcus 1
