Ham Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I had a great 2015 and looking forward to 2016. I'm planning to play with Tenkara. I'm going to chase a lot of different species. I'm hoping to fish with a lot of friends and family and hopefully few OA members that I haven't met in person yet. I'm planning to fish the Bass Cat Owners Invitational in April on Bull Shoals. I'm planning on driving down to fish the White Bass run on the Sabine River with my Dad. I'm hoping to fish the marshes of southern Louisiana in the fall for Redfish and whatever else I can fool. I have a lot of other irons in the fire, but I still hope to make 80 fishing trips. I've got to get after it though. I'm behind already. BilletHead Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Fish with Mrs billethead a bunch. Fish with Ham. Catch a fly rod striper (my first). Etc. Etc. Etc. You understand Ham I had to list it this way. Ham 1 "We have met the enemy and it is us", Pogo If you compete with your fellow anglers, you become their competitor, If you help them you become their friend" Lefty Kreh " Never display your knowledge, you only share it" Lefty Kreh "Eat more bass and there will be more room for walleye to grow!" BilletHead " One thing in life is for sure. If you are careful you can straddle the barbed wire fence but make one mistake and you will be hurting" BilletHead P.S. "May your fences be short or hope you have long legs" BilletHead

Quillback Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I want to fish crank baits more this year and also swimbaits.
MOPanfisher Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 I am planning on abusing the crappie spawn this year, hoping to get in on some walleye and maybe whites as well. Fishing some with wife, some with retired froends, and hope to hit a few creeks and rivers as well. Going to try the Ned on a lake just to see what it will catch. Finally with any luck this fall hit a lake in eastern KS for a lake smallmouth adventure. This has to be better than last year, I hope.
podum Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Buy a kayak and use it. Fly rod saltwater reds. I want to go back to the Eleven Point and fish the North Fork of the White for the first time. I wish I had more time more than I wish I had more money.
Norm M Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 same as usual, keep on learning . Eric82 1 what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
Terrierman Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 I enjoy fishing too much to get all goal oriented about it. I just want to have some good trips with some good friends and family. dtrs5kprs 1
Guest Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Learn to back reel. I'm planning to focus on walleye & crappie this winter in the far upper regions of the white river above beaver. Im adding a trolling motor & battery to the NuCanoe for chasing walleye up the rivers. I plan to fish a spinnerbait & small umbrella rig this year. I keep seeing that crap on Zonas fishing show. I'm going to execute a long lining method with 6XDs & 10XDs this summer. Use the Ned to hit for the cycle each trip. Take my 3 year old son on very short bank fishing trips to learn about live bait, little fish & nature in general.
Brian Sloss Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 Planning on doing Patagonia in Argentina next year at this time Ham 1 www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
