I've already replaced my existing fireplace with gas logs. Up next, tune up the generator. Then start doomsday prepping.

Well I believe your right. But i think your from Okla if I remember. I do not think you need to worry to much about the the ice. The  shaking should keep it broken up.

Gotta insulate my garage door on the man cave & seal up any cold air leaks, ASAP.

Move the privacy fence in about 25ft & add a double car metal awning for the boat & truck. 

Might even chainsaw the bradford pear tree that's brushing up against the roof. Those trees are the worst about breaking in half, even in stout wind. Replace that area with a covered outside porch, just for grilling.

I'm happy it's been raining in CA again but not happy about the flooding potentials or that gas leak..
