joeD
If your idea of catching a couple rainbows and maybe, maybe, a 15 inch brown in 8 hours of fishing is your idea of success, then, by all means, go get 'em. However, I would advise don't believe everything you hear from those who have a monetary stake in your participation. The water is high, extremely swift, and hard to fish. The fish, I believe, are extremely messed up and/or full, and are reluctant to bite. Anything. Anyone who tells you otherwise is full of it. Why do you think no one is posting recent pictures? Buyer beware.

Buyer beware. If this is in response to Trigg saying that they are getting a few and doing ok... I have seen plenty of pictures of some good fish coming out of the White right now. Sure it may be tougher than usual but figuring them out in that water is part of the reward itself. Just because people aren't posting pictures here doesn't mean that they aren't elsewhere, or that it isn't happening. I have yet to see Trigg push his business himself on this board at all. He's the good peoples. Flysmallie

The browns are tough for us feather chuckers nothing new about that not a gear guy and I'm not sure what optimal jerk bait flows are but I'm guessing 30k isn't it. We got out the weekend before fished hard for 3 1/2 days caught a handful of decent browns. Sorry for the ugly muggage, fly fishermans perspective shots and lack of Yeti representation we needed it the beer didn't go down fast the river at 30k required our undivided attention really cut into the consumption. Tough conditions, too tough for me. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974

The White is popular river that gets lots of publicity and a lot of people make their living off of it I'm sure not 100% of what's put up on social media etc... Is completely reliable or the entire story. Trigg is very good peoples.
