marcus Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 around a 45 pound blue cat never used a scale u be the judge
Smallie Seeker Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 60 lb blue cat caught on 80 lb braid from the bank of a private lake. The funny part was that it was caught on my 2nd rig. A backup old bass pole I threw 80 yrds of braid on just to have a 2nd line out. Of course the heavy 12ft catfish rig didn't get hit the little one did. (Lesson learned, got a 2nd cat pole). This fish drug me all the way out, and as a last ditch effort I went into the lake while holding the pole in one hand and the last foot of line in the other. Over waist deep. Managed to get back on land and land it. marcus 1

ciRe Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 45-50lb flat on a buffalo. My scale is a bass fishing scale that only goes to 15lbs because that's mainly all I care about weighing.

It is the former state record from 2005 to 2009, but is still the current line class, fly rod, world record. The current state record is held by Scott S. from Arnold Mo. His fish was a tremendous 28lb 13 oz brown, also caught from lake taneycomo near cooper creek as I recall. Brian Jones, Seth and Terrierman 3
