Members HardHead Posted March 30, 2016 Members Posted March 30, 2016 300 boats isn't that many on Table Rock. It won't be any busier than what it normally is this time of year. Last year, Saturday of the big bass tournament was very crowded. I tried kc to the dam and found no shelter. It was a rough day - not much courtesy or patience displayed by those on the water. I think anglers in action held their tournament that same day. Went way up the white on that Sunday - found more fish and less boats. Good luck to all this weekend.
Sore Thumbs Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Thumbs, they can put in anywhere. It is not a shot-gun start out of BC. Everyone gets on their favorite location and they get a text to start the festivities. Believe you me they will fish from Holiday Island to Galena to Both Arkansas portions of the Kings and Long Creek. The Beaver suggestion is a great one. This can be a great time down there. Lots of staging fish can be caught in the trees in front of the spawning pockets. Throw that jerkbait or if you got a hankering the Rig in woody places in front of gravel pockets. You will catch fish. You might even catch one of those Big White/Silver ones that will take your junk. Good Luck I knew they could trailer to the weigh in but that is a pain in the butt. I wouldn't do that due to less fishing time but to each their own I guess. crazy4fishin 1

It won't be any busier than what it normally is this time of year. 300 boats isn't that many, but when you add the weekend anglers, the pleasure boaters that are out already, the pontoon'ers, and the other tournaments on the lake, that extra 300+ boats makes it pretty obvious they are there. Especially by the dam/Long Creek areas. I have several buds fishing the Bash, and even considered it myself a few times, but with a trip coming up to the dunes in OK. With the ATV's, I thought I better get the yard up to par, the ATV's checked out, trailers looked over.....Oh don't get me wrong, I will be on the water this weekend, just not long enough to be in the way of those with money on the line. Good luck to those trying to win that beautiful Z18. Ham 1 TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

Champ188 Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Must be one of those new Nitro/Ranger bots.? A Night Ranger, for those who might remember sub-par 1980s rock groups. Ham, mixermarkb, abkeenan and 3 others 6
Ketchup Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Must be one of those new Nitro/Ranger bots.? Would that cross be a slower hull "Ranger" and cheaper topside "Nitro", or better storage"Ranger"and faster hull "Nitro"? Those Rangers like to plow. I've owned 2 of them, pre-1997.
