So the wrong verbage was used why are you so fired up about it?  Early in the article they do make reference to it being "shot".  It's an accomplishment within the bowfishing community. nothing more nothing less.

Drum are a fun bonus fish in Bull Shoals. They are a lot prettier out of clear water. I have caught some that had the copper hues of a Redfish and some that were a metallic gray with lots of purple iridescence. Crush your bait and flat out pull.

I'd guess that since they are n Beaver and they are in Bull Shoals that they are in TR.

Yep, amazed that I've never heard anyone speak of catching a Drum while fishing at TR while a lot of guys catch them often at LOZ.

I caught one a few years back around indian point, but they are scarce.

It's a drum catching machine everywhere else.

Funny you mention that.

I fished a club deal last fall on Perry.  I was delayed due to work and arrived to reports of sloooowww fishing all morning and afternoon.  Hearing everyone else had been power fishing, I grabbed the ned and proceeded to make hay.  In a matter of 2 hours I had boated as many fish as anyone else had all day, but likely with a better net weight.  Unfortunately I was unsuccessful in convincing anyone else that I had stumbled on to the elusive Kansas strain bass.

Shhhh...there are no bass in Perry, and the ones that aren't there also won't eat the Ned.

You would think. I've got 20-30+ days a year on TR for 19 years, and no drum. Maybe they are my gizzard shad, lol.
