New skin. Pfff....sissy types. I just use the same Locktite Gel Glue I use on my Neds and glue the split back together.

Not a great idea.

I've tried every lotion imaginable, but unless you're very diligent and apply it on a very regular basis, it doesn't do very well. For me, Vaseline seems to me to be the only thing that works.

Since im a mechanic my skin get dry and cracks in the winter from the oils and solvents that my hands are subjected too...but if i stick with rebuilding transmission my hands are always clean and soft....i havent really found anything to help with the cracks and dryness other than automatic transmission fluid...lol....my skin is so tough that when i had to have a squamus cell cancer removed from my wrist, the doctor was bending the needle on the syringe when she was trying to numb the area to be cut..

It works in a pinch. I wouldn't recommend it as I believe whatever is in that glue gets into your bloodstream or something. I used a somewhat liberal amount to patch up a split on my finger when golfing and my fingers in my hands tingled for 2 days. Not sure if it was from the glue or what but yeah prolly not a good idea.

They use a form of super glue for gluing your skin together today in the medical field.

Was a big fan of New Skin once upon a time, but I've gone over to the Krazy Glue side.  I'm a confirmed convert.

Donna makes a hand lotion with Vaseline, vitamin E cream, baby lotion and triple antibiotic ointment that will work wonders overnight. We gave it the very scientific moniker Pink Stuff.

Don't get that confused with pink stuff salad dressing from Minsky's in KC.
