You can’t do that by pricing it high and then placing a 40% tax on it. More tax income could be made by being competitive. But again they have only been doing it for a few months so maybe they will get it figured out. That's pretty totally naive'. liphunter Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 I can see both sides of those points. For me, and that kind of goes along with Flysmallie. History kind of favors the notion that. If you make something illegal you also create a market that will be a thorn in societies side to deal with. Kind of a blue collar type crime. Robberies and murders and such. Now if you make it legal and tax it. We eliminate the value greatly. So it's not profitable for robberies and murders and such. What you have now is producers and politicians working closely together to make sure that the good of the citizenship is at the forefront of any decision that's made. We call that white collar crime. Luck is where preparation meets opportunity...... Or you could just flip a coin???

Oh I know it’s always about the money. I’m not an idiot. That’s all anybody wants from anyone. But a 40% tax on zero is still zero. So if they want the money they have to be smart enough to eliminate the competition. I’m putting my money on the competition in that particular state.

Flysmallie Posted March 15, 2020 Posted March 15, 2020 An Irishman, by the name of O'Malley, proposed to his girl on St. Patrick's Day. He gave her a ring with a synthetic diamond. The excited young lass showed it to her father, a jeweler. He took one look at it and saw it wasn't real. The young lass on learning it wasn't real, returned to her future husband. She protested vehemently about his cheapness. "It was in honor of St. Patrick's Day," he smiled. "I gave you a sham rock." Johnsfolly, Mitch f, liphunter and 3 others 2 4
