My biggest rainbow

Caught a 22 1/2 inch rainbow (my biggest ever) yesterday on my 2nd cast of the trip. Trout magnet under a float with 2 pound test. Caught it below the landing. Released healthy as can be to fight another day. Still got a week to go.  Caught a few at the landing this morning on jigs. Not getting to serious about fishing till Tuesday after the crowds clear out then I hope to fish the trophy area quite a bit.

Congratulations! Nice catch. Hope the fishing stays good next week. Rumor has it that a 20' Gator might be spotted on Taneycomo starting Tuesday afternoon.
