One good thing about having a hook in your body somewhere is the ER considers it a Foreign object in your body and you get to cut ahead of the runny nosed welfare kids. I know from experience.

Evidently you missed the day in Bible class where they taught the second commandment  But we all know that of which you speak!

When my son buried the hook in his hand and we went to ER in Cassville...we was in and out in 45 minutes.. we where the only ones in there.....since the Hospitals around here stopped handing out pain pills the ER is not near as busy....lol

I know everything about nothing and know nothing about everything!

Soooey!  THAT should make it all better!  What a game!  And I (as a KU fan) just earlier today pledged my allegiance to Champ and his Hogs in a lame attempt to have something to vicariously live for during football season!  I gotta go buy some gear now!

Hope the outcome helped to somewhat assuage the pain of the untimely impalement!

I (on the other hand) am thrilled to be unpoked and (sorta) in possession of a winning football team.

Is Jayhogs a noun?

Wife and I were just talking about our KU season ticket days. Back when I wore a Razorback t-shirt under my rock chalk tee.

Ahhh the Mangino years. When the trophies made the coach hungry, but there actually were trophies.

Jayhogs, LOVE IT! Welcome aboard, Vernon. It was the farthest thing from a pretty win, but an exciting one for sure. Woo Pig!

About the hook ... was square in the "meat" on the tip of the middle finger (yeah, that one) ... straight down and deep. No chance for the line trick or of running it on thru and out. Strictly an ER job all the way. Thanks for all the concern. I'm good.

Taking a couple of UA college kids out for a derby today. Will tell more about both the Sat-Sun trips this evening.
