WeekendWarrior Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Boys you best get down now if you want some fast and furious action, the whites are going to town if you happen to be at the right spot at the right time and even if you're not you can still catch some as long as you hit the bank with your cast. Went out for a couple hours and we had 12-15 with a nice striper on the whopper plopper That took off like a freight train, fun stuff. MOPanfisher, Seth, Drbucketmouth57 and 3 others 6
MOPanfisher Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Wish I could go again but for some reason boss thinka I need to work. but you are right it can be fast and furious, and some good sized ones roo.
MOsmallies Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Nice! I'll be down the day after thanksgiving... What types of banks are you finding these whites and hybrids on? Mainlake or secondary stuff? Big rock or smaller rock? I'm guessing wind is a pretty big key
MOPanfisher Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Mine were on secondary stuff, smaller rock to gravel, though we did find a few along a bluff as well. wind was crucial, as were the shad.
96 CHAMP Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 nice fish, Wednesday morning I had 14 big whites fairly quickly on that smaller to small chunk rock banks & there wasn't much wind but some. I figured the last 2 days would be good with that front and wind coming in.

bluebasser86 Posted November 22, 2016 Posted November 22, 2016 We could have caught them until we got tired of catching fish last weekend but we were fishing a bass tournament. About as far as we could go up the Gravois, right across from Gravois Mills Access, just look for the diving birds. Even had my first ever double on an A-rig.
