 cancerous lesion on the forehead removed, got it all,  margins good - no further treatment needed

cancer on the tongue removed with about 1/3 tongue, tongue rebuilt with graft from tissue donor. margins good . no cancer found in lymph nodes removed- no further treatment needed .

 

 looks like I'm going to win .

what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends

   Good to hear Norm!

Makes one look at life different. Well it did us when the wife and I found out she had it. Now she is cancer free and we now cherish each day we have together,

Norm, that is AWESOME news.  A few years ago I would have been more "cool, good news" but having changed teams to survivor side, it is always great news to hear that someone is winning the battle.

Yeah.  Sounds like you lost about as much as me. 

How is the speech and taste?

I have been free for about a year.  The tongue still tingles and dries out in sleep.  The neck is stiff and arm still has problems.  But, Cancer free for over a year.
