Fished from 8:30-4:00 water temp was 43-50.  Put in at shell knob.  Caught around 20 don't know for sure, had 6 keepers 5 on jerk and one on jig.  Not a bad day considering the weather.  List one Walter at the end of the day that really stung, but a bad net job by myself contributed to that.  Caught a mix of spots and blacks all spots were right on the bank, blacks were out further.  Have fun headed to beaver tomorrow for my first trip there.

You aren't missing much. It is a lesser version of Table Rock?.  It has actually gotten better the past few years.

Short and not so sweet at beaver.  7 fish 1 keeper.  Jerk bait and rock crawler.  Should have went back you the rock.

Hoping you found the small mouth that roam over there.  Beaver has improved over the years but can be very fickle on locals too, don't get discouraged.
