Idle time and myself had planned on coming down this evening. I'm not crazy about fishing in 38 degree weather and rain but this weather change has gotten me sick. To say I feel like crap is a understatement. Unless a major turn takes place we will not be there. To say I am not perturbed is also a understatement.

I agree.  We are not going to come down because of the weather.  I guess this is what I get for packing to boat over the weekend.

Phil is planning on heading to Eagle Rock Friday to set up a big tent with a heater.  But I guess we need to see if we still have anyone planning to show up before he does that.  Weather does look to be pretty nasty.

My son and I most likely wont fish, as my trailer is still in the shop and was planning on just boating over at some point, but i think it would be a long cold ride from Baxter to Eagle Rock.  We will still come to the weigh in at 2:30 if all is still a go.   Let me know if i need to bring anything. I can stop on my way and get whatever food or drinks, firewood etc. we might need.

Same here. I have had the boat packed, cover on and ready to hook to the truck since Sunday and planned to depart at 1pm today. With this weather and 96 Champ under the weather we regrettably will not be able to attend though the food alone would make the 300 mile drive worth it for me! (not sure what to do with all this soda, target practice I'm guessing!) Best of luck to all that are able to attend and look forward to meeting you in the future. Thank You to everyone that worked so hard putting this event together, we really appreciate your efforts.

Folks we are going to have to CANCEL for this Saturday and try and reschedule.  Sorry, I was really looking forward to this, but the weather just looks to be potentially nasty.

Let us know Quillback when you get it figured out. Thanks for everything

I completely understand, and I wish you all the best this spring.  I hope to see some of you in April.  I will be in the SK area April 22-24.

God Bless and be safe
