Donna G Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 Didn't leave Bella Vista until 8. Fished until 4:30. Slow start, but Champ188 found us some on bluff transitions. Most came on the Ned. Nine total. Eight LM, one spot. Two keeps one each on jerkbait and grub. 41.2 WT at launch and fished down to 39.5, which is actually where we caught the most fish. Front blew in this afternoon and they totally shut down. Showing the inner sanctum aka rod box so you can see the tackle malfunction. Love the rod sleeves, but sometimes those trebles bite. ? shark bait, Bassmod, abkeenan and 6 others 9 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
Bill Babler Posted January 9, 2017 Posted January 9, 2017 IF you wouldn't try to put a gallon in a quart bottle you wouldn't have that problem Donna looked dressed for it. After yesterday I'm not that mad at them for a while. Took me 15 minutes to get my boat off the trailer as it was frozen to the bunks. Wind was a little sharp this afternoon, though. Got my new Patagonia fishing gloves in. This was a good trial. Fished all day in them and even tied on a Ned using a Palomar wearing them. vernon, magicwormman, Quillback and 1 other 4 Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
