Well it wasn't that bad in BilletHeadVille. No close power outages that I know of. Shot a few photos to share.  Did loose a few big tree limbs. Melting fast now.

Got to do a drive by shooting on these guys. Something we don't see many of now. A dozen or more,DSC_0486 - Copy.JPG

Ditto here, once it turned to straight rain last night I quit worrying about it.  Temp was right at 32 but nothing was freezing on vehicles.  Just rains and galling ice now.

What I think is hilarious is that Ameren, who when they goofed and overly flooded the lake twice last year, said, "We don't operate in consideration of Weather Forecasts",  hauled in 300 guys and 70 trucks from Texas and housed them all in area motels.

I bet the poker games were a blast! ?

We had a lot of ice on everything but the driveway.  Highways and driveways stayed wet.  A few limbs broken off, and getting out our 1/3 mile driveway was a little tricky because it's lined with cedars, and the limbs were sagging down over the lane.  Today if you went outside under the trees, you just about had to wear a helmet, because there was a constant rain of ice chunks a half inch thick.

Friday was definitely the worst of the storm up here in St Louis.  I'm glad a lot of people heeded the warning but yeah, this storm was far from epic.  Temps were on the north side of freezing for a lot of it and the treatments on the roads took care of the rest.
