It's the silly season for guys who don't have a supply of warts. Only going to get worse every year.

Completely unnecessary as well. Wal Mart works well enough shallow and RK's are great for the deeper stuff.

How do you tell if they are pre rapala?. I have some from I think the 80s

I googled how to tell the diff.. Looks like I've got 5 of the Magnums and 3 of the reg. size that are pre Rapala. Think I'll look into e-bay.

on the pre's, wiggle wart is usually stamped on the bottom in black lettering.

So does anybody here think there is that much difference in fish-catching ability?  I've found the newer ones to be less durable, but they still catch fish.

I only throw the solid colored ones with painted lips (the plastic on those is bone white, not clear) and the new ones catch fish just as good as the old ones do.....as far as I can tell.   

My neighbor still has some old ones he throws, and I put it on him the other day, so.....
