The XB21 has me totally sold. I really think it will fish and ride very well, as well as go fast. It's a different sort of beast than the old XB-2002 and 2003, which were race boats with trolling motors. I'm convinced that the ally XB21 pro sport is the boat for me and the family, should I win the lottery or otherwise become wealthy, because I won't be getting any loans for new toys anytime soon.

Hope it's different than the old XTB21. Was in one of those with a guide on Okeechobee many, many years ago. No thank you. A squirrel on meth is less squirrely.

Dude...It was like being on a balsa wood model of a bass boat. Just crazy.

Only thing I've seen close was a Bumble Bee. It was in a slip next to my old 18' Ranger at Truman. Wind was blowing, boats going past, Ranger just sort of bobbed as usual. The Bee looked like a floating styrofoam cup.

I run a 250 HP. I sort of accidentally ended up with one. Most of my throttle time is at 50 mph or less, but I let her run every now and again.

I have a 250, could care less about speed. That's just what you need to push a 2000# (empty) hull. I crack 60+ maybe twice a year with the kids, just coming back in on a hot day. May not see that this year if the lake doesn't come up. Call me tree averse.

Yep, that and resale if one ever decided to sell or trade.  Be kinda tuff to find a market for a Ranger 521 with a 75 horse Honda on the back.

It would be pretty interesting to see the look on the sales guy's face when writing up that order though.

I'm one of those rare guys, that speed matters.  I had a 300EX 4 wheeler and after a few trips to the dunes, it was like riding a turtle, so I got a 400EX, and again, that was to slow. Last year I bought a new Kawasaki 450 4 wheeler, and had about $2000 worth to make it faster.   My Harley Heritage Softail wasn't enough. So I had Denneys Harley put aftermarket exhaust. Tuner, etc. to make it louder and faster.  Same with my dirt bikes, trucks, boats, etc.  I have always lived on the edge, and its what excites me. I've had boats that would only go 40, and get bored after owning them a week.  My current boat will do mid 60's and I wish it would do mid 70's.   Just something about speed for me.  My brother has a 1963 Chevy short wide bed truck that does the 1/4 in 9.02, and he drives it on the street. He's now trying to get it in the 8 second class.  Must run in the family.

I'm one of those guys that catching bass matters. So I want myself, my lifetime fishing partner and others who may come aboard to be as safe and pampered as possible. Thus my decision to ride a Ranger Z119. I fish in pure comfort, as do my guests.

With a 225 Opti and a tournament load, it runs 68-70 on GPS and I've yet to see a tin boat that can keep up on the rare occasions that I blow the carbon out of it. Not saying it's impossible, but it hasn't happened yet.

Might run 1-2 mph slower coming back to the weigh-in with both livewells full of water and fish.
