Muddy Water Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Fished a couple hours this morning from the bank near Eagle Rock. Fishing was slow compared to last visit here, only caught 8 or 9 with 3 being keepers. The water was slightly stained and the temp looked cold. Most fish were caught about 30 feet from the bank in deeper water......all NED fish merc1997 Bo, magicwormman, cheesemaster and 7 others 10

96 CHAMP Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Nice fish, looking forward to getting out myself come Sunday, Monday & Tuesday Muddy Water 1
Quillback Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 I came in on the afternoon shift after Muddy left. I had good numbers, caught 25, a few solid keeper large mouth, and a couple of borderline spots, the rest being shorts. Ned fish. There was an afternoon bite and most of mine were on the shallow side compared to where Muddy was getting them. I'd say the 5-15 foot range was best for me. dtrs5kprs, Muddy Water, magicwormman and 4 others 7
Johnsfolly Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Muddy and Quill You guys are catching some great fish from the bank! Seems like there have been a lot more bass being caught in shallow water than I have seen from the boat fisherman. Great job and an inspiration to bank and wade fishermen like myself! magicwormman, Quillback, Muddy Water and 1 other 4

Noticed that too. Too easy to get caught up probing the depths for fish that may not want to play. I'm all for it if the deep fish will eat. If not, there are always some shallow. crazy4fishin, magicwormman, Quillback and 1 other 4
