Same here, Evil. No problems for me.

Royal Blue, just one boat bag? What do you do with the other colors, sizes and hooks?

Mike

There in lies the problem...I have multiple BPS bags full of those clam shells in both the truck and the garage.

Wow, and I thought it was only me having these issues.  Love this website.

OCD? Maybe. I came up with this a few months back mainly because too many bags and broken rubber bands. It's worked out pretty well for efficiency and keeps the boys from getting things totally out of wack. Keitechs are no problem. F

We need a boat organization thread.

That's really similar to how I've got most of my compartments too.

But it just always strikes me as an awful lot of "wasted" space - I always feel kinda like I'm keeping six bullets in a shoe box.  BUT, dem bullets is always dang well organized though!

I really like all the new stuff these days but it always makes me think back to when I just carried one tackle "box" and seemed to have everything I ever needed.  And caught more fish to boot.

(I know, there I go again with the stroll down memory lane).

Danged if I know of a better way though!  Thanks for the pic.

You are so correct.  Manufacturer's packaging is tough on organization.  Probably by design!

I have no doubt that my first tackle box changed my life when I couldn't get everything in it.  All I do everyday now is fit square pegs in round holes

Memory Lane:  My first tackle box was the ugliest thing I ever saw (the colors back then were terrible), but I sure loved it.  One tray.  Had a couple of rigged creme worms (1-black, 1-purple), a jig, floating minnow, a hula popper, wiggle wart, and one single blade spinner bait.  It seems like I was always going swimming for that wart.

I think I catch more fish today than I did back then...sometimes.  I hope:blush:

Ahh, its all about the journey!

But I can say, as someone with a whole lot of baits in the sled, I do not have any paper plates in the boat.

:)

I did have a roll of toilet paper to cover the baits but it didn't look quite right.

That's pretty spot on but you don't look that old!  You sure you're not repeating stories you heard your daddy tell?:P

When I "upgraded" from my 520VX to my new Z521c one of the first things I thought was, Wow!  Look at ALL that extra storage!

Took about two weeks and I was already back to trying to decide what to take and what to leave home cause it was packed to the gills!

I guess boats are kind of like houses in that regard.  The bigger they are, the more stuff we'll accumulate to eventually fill 'em up.

My wife is an absolute organizational freak.  OCD times infinity squared.  Everything has to be in a box, a basket or a drawer.  However, try as she might, not even she can figure out a great way to pack a boat!

And as for the Keitechs?  After about an hour of Rubik's cube work she declared that those things were my problem!

And you're doubly right about the "journey".
