Considering some of the earlier prognostications I think that might actually be good news. I hope so anyways. "Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups." Skeeter ZX190 Posted April 29, 2017 Posted April 29, 2017 I'm no weather forecaster, but when I look at the radar and see what is southwest of Table Rock and Beaver, it looks like it might be a long night.

If I understood Phil's "updated forecast" post correctly, at 920 they will increase release to 20,000 CFS..... we have 22,900 coming down James, 29,700 off Flat plus Kings River at 24,600 that is 77,200 coming in addition to all the others and releases from Beaver......appears to me we are at a extra 100,000 CFS how long til it hits 930? magicwormman 1 “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein
IL Fisherman Posted April 30, 2017 Author Posted April 30, 2017 Driving around the area. All the creeks and ditches are just racing full. A lot of water is headed to the lakes. Best wishes to all who have property or businesses along the waters edge. Be careful and stay safe. vernon and magicwormman 2

Ellros Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 I live down DD across from Indian Point Marina... We've had almost 5" (about 4.75 so far) of rain from 9am Saturday morning to 8pm. And it is still coming down. That's not counting the 2 1/4" that fell overnight. So the Little Rock guy was way off. skeeter and magicwormman 2
roy_eros Posted April 30, 2017 Posted April 30, 2017 Looking at the gauges from most of the tributaries they have not slowed or crested. Lots of water still heading towards the lakes. skeeter 1
