Mothers day is coming.

?

I'm truly not joking.  I was moving an engine hoist around awhile back and knocked a big bin of nuts/bolts/washers over on the floor.  I totally lost my cool.  My wife heard all the crashing, banging, and cussing, and came running out to see who had got killed.   I'm standing there on the verge of a meltdown, and she says "CALM DOWN CALM DOWN, I got this, go take a shower".  She plopped down on the floor of the shop and calmly sorted that entire mess out.....Took her all evening, and I'm convinced that she enjoyed every minute of it.

Maybe for Mother's day I should have my daughter take her enormous necklace/bracelet making bead collection and throw it down the stairs. ??

Your wife sounds like mine, doesn't lose her cool very often. But she wouldn't sit and sort for hours. She has video games to play.

I would "like" this but things like that have gotten people killed or worse.

My wife i similar, if all 4 of us are in the boat fishing and someone gets a nasty tangle we will just throw the rod down and grab another, she usually never spends more than 5 minutes on the worst tangles or backlashes and the rods back in business...and she rarely fishes.  Patience of a saint.

We have all kicked or dumped a tackle box, tool box or carefully organized nut and bolt bin over once or 4 times.   I used to go flipping crazy.  Now, I just channel George Costanza.

Serenity now, serenity now, .....

When I spill things and make messes, I usually get ticked off and make it worse by throwing or kicking what was spilled, which then makes me even madder.

Let's get back to the mess. Was the Shepard of the Hills affected during this fiasco that has afflicted Taneycomo. I ask because the hatchery at Montauk was totaled. Since I am more likely to fish there I am wondering how they will handle the fishing at the park now. I prefer the river below the park but will wet a line in the park late in the day.
