7-4-17 Lower End

Got out a couple of hours the last several days and only able to scratch out a few here and there.  Tried enforcer's bluff pattern, but couldn't get it going.  Took my brother-in-law out this morning and got into them on the main lake gravel points....super secret ones!  Drop shot and 6XD found them.  We then dialed them in by dragging 1/2oz football jigs.  The key was it had to be dragged, c- rig style and it needed to be in the 18' range, so casting parallel to the run out was best.  No hard hits, all were subtle and just loaded up.  A few pics of the better ones and a good one the bro-in-law caught last night.  Have a happy and safe Independence Day.  David

Split, thanks for the information. Now if I can only remember where I saw that big boat and that bridge in your pictures, I would have an idea where your secret spots are. Good looking smallies.

Similar pattern, different locations this morning.  Still on the gravel.  Found the better ones in 15'.  Water temp between 81-83.
