I just don't get it.   Nobody has partied any harder than I did when I was younger, but me and my crew always managed to stay alive and out of jail, and always made it home safe when we were done.   

These idiots nowadays think they are just Party Pro's...... but the truth of the matter is that they suck at it really bad!  The thirty-somethings still need training wheels.   Pathetic!

I hope not, busy enough up here now as it is. Michaels Restaurant is looking to put in a boat dock and shuttle people up to restaurant here at 28 mm. Not sure it will add much traffic unless they change menu but any more traffic in cove is more than I want.

90 degrees and 60%+ humidity is feeling pretty tropical to me right now.

Please, please do not cash in your 401k to invest in a Jimmy Buffet themed hotel because you think it'll be a hit with the younger crowd.  By and large, people under 30 have neither the income nor the interest to plunk down a couple hundred bucks for the weekend at a resort park rubber stamped by the guy who's song may very well have been playing the moment they were conceived.  They're not targeting a younger crowd;  if you don't believe me, check out the line of "Margaritaville Mom" t-shirts on their facebook page.  

That said, I don't think it's feasible- between the hotel, the houses, the conference facilities, golf course, etc; it's a pretty massive campus.  If the folks who ran Tan-Tar-A couldn't get it to appeal to a general audience, I don't know how narrowing that audience could increase profits.  And I always thought Tan-Tar-A did a lot of business with conferences and such?  I can't imagine the folks who run those would continue sending money someplace that's gonna look awkward on receipts and audits.

I agree Wrench, we did some crazy stuff back in the day, lived to tell the next day. And mommy didn't give us money for our party supplies either.

Attended a conference there a couple years ago, The property really needs some work, rather dated. Not sure how that will proceed, but really don't care.

They sold some houses..... but are leasing the property the houses sit on.   Seems batshit crazy to me but I'm the farthest thing from a real estate guru.

I know one gorl and have met twp others thatvwork up there at Cocont as servers in the summer. They want to malexmoney for their education thereby imroving theor future and becoming productive citizens of ts nation. The people they serve are wealthy big boater people with a lot of money to spend. One of the great joys of these type of prety people is to sneak out without paying the bill. This asshle owner then charges the bill to the server. I cannot make up my mind who in the h-- I wish I could shoot first., I have a terroble attitude about these kind of people that boarders  on violence. We would be a lot better off with a lot less of rhis type scum

It sucks when it happens, but I kinda understand it.  A servers job is not only to take orders and deliver them to the table, they are also supposed to see to it that the bill gets paid.  When it gets rediculously busy and it becomes hard to keep track of every table in their section they are supposed to ask for a credit card or some form of ID to hold until the party leaves.  If a waitress/server fails to do that and gets stiffed then technically they are not doing their job.  

The servers are making 400-800 per shift for crying out loud, a job Ike that doesn't come without some responsibility.

GOOD I HOPE THEY GET MORE. Thing is like I said I have no use for the aloft thinking of these kind of people who feel they can do this. It. A old Navy discription comes to my mind to discribe them. Theu are 3 grade lower than Whale s--- at the bottom of the ocean.
