bkbying89 Posted July 23, 2017 Posted July 23, 2017 Excuse my ignorance, Mr. Wally when you reference hybrids are you referring to Stripers? I didn't realize they were in the Meramac. I have been out of fishing for a while and started back recently. And where can you buy these hidef craws? Bill

Bill The high def craw he references was designed, tested, and is now sold by members of this forum. I am a customer and not one of that crew. They are found throughout the lower Meramec and get rather big. Hog Wally Posted July 24, 2017 Author Posted July 24, 2017 You guys took the words right out of my mouth lol. Went out in the heat of the day today and caught 21 Smallies in 2.5 hours. Nothing over 14" but they were fun snagged in outlet 3, rps and bkbying89 3
MOFishwater Posted July 24, 2017 Posted July 24, 2017 Nice! I only got out for an hour yesterday from the Route 66 boat ramp but it was a nice respite. The gar were hot on a whopper plopper and craw colored spinnerbait. Had a nice visit from a spotted fawn that came down for a sip of water which was enjoyable. Johnsfolly 1

JUNGLE JIM 1 Posted July 25, 2017 Posted July 25, 2017 Your good day would be my best day, especially with the walleye and hybrids. I dream of days like that. timinmo 1

Yes they do.....I have been nailing them pretty regularly post flood here...but now I don't take pics anymore because of my superstitious brain. I lost my phone and took my sweet time replacing it. During that time I have been nailing very nice fish and crazy numbers so....no more pic s for me for awhile and pics suck when you are fishing alone anyway....I.E see below You can nail nice ones though if you have some patience and don't mind losing a ton of lures timinmo, Daryk Campbell Sr, Greasy B and 6 others 9
