Interesting I grew up Paying to Carp Fish. Found it exciting and still do, just don't pay.

I also enjoy catching Buffalo and Suckers which are Native Fish and very Good Eating.

Caught plenty Redhorse as matter fact I caught the Biggest one I ever have last Spring.

Now I'm Boatless so I'm fishing from the bank witch limits where I can fish.

Oh I did catch a 6.5 Pound Rainbow on Night Crawlers, Number 6 Baitholder Hook, and 6# Test Line.

Got a chance to go see some of these bad boys in person, they are raised till they are in the 5-10 pounds before they are stocked, with a few raised till they hit 20#

the fish are fed a hi protein boilies (they prob will sell them on site) twice a week during the growing season

once in syndicate lake, I am sure they will have 40 pounders in under 5 years...spring fed lake gravel bottom

I can't wait till they open! its modeled after Gigantica in France, where people all over Europe pay about the equivalent of $1500 to fish 5 days

How do they taste compared to the regular common carp.

no-one eats these, as a rule each fish is photographed and capture with weights documented,  I read once an eastern european killed to eat a 30#er at a UK syndicate, he didn't understand and apparently got beat up :o

to kinda school you what the deal is check out this place, notice the prices and that most of 2018 already booked, but from what I would expect they prob would taste better

I would hate to get beat up over a carp.  Be a shameful stain on my life, sort of like the time a tore a muscle beating a possum to death on my porch late one night.

They were bred for the table, less scales for easier cleaning and deeper sides for more meat to bone ratio and a guy gets beat up for eating one , how ironic .

what a long strange trip it's been , put a dip in your hip, a glide in your stride and come on to the mother ship , the learning never ends
